Hello OpenERP Team and User,

I Use Vtiger as CRM and I need and ERP and I have look to install Dolibarr, but after a quick search on Goo, I found OpenERP 7.0!!! Nice and really functionnal...

But!

The installation is not so easy... I try to ask some help from my server provider, and they explain that installing OpenErp on a Centos server is not so easy and could make some disfunctionnal with the server..

First of all is that true?

Well, as I don't like to give up..anyone could give me some help to install it on my server..

First I use Cpanel and I have Postgresql install the version is 8.4 but not running for the moment. I try to find a tuto to explain how to upgrade to postgresql 9.2, found it and try to upgrade, launch it but two issues. 1- not really sure that everything is done properly. 2- I can't see the postgresql on Cpanel ( after a quick search Cpanel is not ready for Postgresql 9.2)

Well I can't cross this first step...

After that How I am suppose to download the source or RPM on the server?? using Putty ?

Well that's it...

If you have access to a shell on your machine, the easiest method is use the script you can find on http://forum.openerp.com/forum/topic36094.html
