Dear all,

Is it normal that a bom child product, (composed itself by other child products defined in another bom), have a procurement in draft state and not running when the parent production order is confirmed?

Some precisions: both boms are in "Make to Order" procurement method and "produce" supply method. The parent product procurement is in running state but not the child product. I have installed the MRP_JIT module.

Even after running the scheduler, no PO is created for the child product. The only way I can get the PO, and the state changed from draft to running is to confirm manually the procurement order (in procurement exceptions).

It would be easier to get all the child product confirmed automatically when a parent product is confirmed. Is there a way to achieve that?

Waiting for other feedback regarding this procurement/production issue.

Regards,

Whatever you have done is correct. When you install mrp_jit then all procurement will run automatically which is in 'confirmed' state. But the problem is that it's not going into 'confirmed' state and stay in 'Draft' state.

There is a bug posted on launchpad : bug#1168349

You can apply the branch code given in bug. Hope that it will solve your problem.
